The Bookshop, Wigton
The Bookshop is Scotland’s largest second-hand bookshop, and – established 50 years ago – the oldest bookshop in Wigtown, Scotland’s National Book Town. Our stock is extensive and varied, and covers nearly a mile of shelving. Watch out for the cat – he’s an animal.

Deeside Books
Deeside Books is a bookshop located in the centre of the village of Ballater on Royal Deeside, and we are on the main A93 Aberdeen to Braemar road. We are predominantly an out of print bookshop with a stock of about 10,000 titles covering a wide selection of subjects. We also have a good selection of new Scottish titles and bestsellers as well as publishing and distributing new local history books on the North-east of Scotland region. Our shop also caters for the visitor with various gifts, greeting cards and souvenirs. Parking is free and plentiful along with the attractions of various other shops, bars and restaurants in Ballater.

Yeadon’s of Banchory and Elgin
Yeadon’s of Elgin is one of the oldest continuously trading bookshops in Scotland. Established in 1887 by James Dawson Yeadon, the shop underwent an extensive refit during 2007, and now benefits from custom designed shelving and vintage furniture. The second branch of Yeadon’s opened in December 2007 in the Royal Deeside town of Banchory, providing the best books in a beautiful setting.
