SAW
Since 1969, the Scottish Association of Writers has championed writers and writing groups across Scotland. Our mission is to unite writers, authors, and writing groups for mutual support and networking. We achieve this through a monthly newsletter, engaging competitions, and an annual conference.
We are keen to connect with clubs currently holding memberships that may be interested in joining our organisation. Membership in SAW provides your club with the opportunity to participate in our competitions and attend our annual conference. If interested, please contact our Club Development Council Officer.
While we strongly encourage writers to join local groups, we understand that time and geography may be restrictive in allowing members to attend physical meetings. There are a number of clubs who are happy to accept online members. Alternatively, you can can join SAW as an individual member.
All members of affiliated writing groups automatically become SAW members.
